She grew up on a farm in Georgia, but she considers the South Carolina Lowcountry home. She met her husband, David, while attending the University of South Carolina. The couple moved to Charleston in 1993 and were married in 1995. They couldn’t have imagined a better place to raise their family. Chari is 100% committed to her profession and it shows. Franne Schwarb and her late husband Mark met in New York City and married in 1971. By 1978, their family of five had settled in the Atlanta suburbs. She began her real estate career there, in 1991, after being a stay-at-home mom. In 1996, Franne’s husband took a job in Charleston, and she brought her real estate expertise to the Lowcountry. She was a site agent at Dunes West, selling lots and collaborating with custom builders. When Dunes West changed owners, she went to general brokerage and has been helping people move for over 30 years. “Our families have lived in Mount Pleasant forever.
