She loves writing while studying for her master’s in Teaching. Her love and passion for history, especially local history, is heavily incorporated into her writing for Mount Pleasant Magazine. Enid Spitz is a Charleston-based writer, editor and yoga instructor who enjoys time with her puppy, adventures abroad and a good whiskey when not writing from home. Mike Gibbons and his family have lived in Mount Pleasant since 2014. A native of Aiken, he and his wife are both graduates of the University of Alabama. He has been a writer since the mid 1990s, when he started his journalism career at the Aiken Standard . Charleston-based photographer Rick Walo focuses on commercial and editorial assignments for his Lowcountry clients. He enjoys getting his clients involved in the photographic process by making sessions fun and collaborative. Rick’s work can be seen in Mount Pleasant Magazine and its supplements, as well as in Charleston Style & Design . He is also a featured photographer for web-based The Daily Meal . Samantha Connors is a freelance writer whose work focuses on food, drink and travel. A former editor, Samantha is now a regular contributor to Edible Charleston, Eater and Charleston magazine.
