He was born and raised in Mount Pleasant and returned home to the Lowcountry five years ago after living 14 years in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Stacy E. Domingo resides near the banks of the Ashley River in the South Carolina Lowcountry. She shares a plentiful life surrounded by family, including two wonderful children, Sierra and Joe, and her husband, Henry. A native of North Charleston, she has worked in the East Cooper area since she was a teenager baking bread for a local sub shop. She enjoys spreading the word about the beauty of the place she calls home. Anne Shuler Toole was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, where she now resides with her husband and two young children. She is the owner of Be Present Marketing and finds joy in writing about the people, places, culture, history and food that shape the Lowcountry. John Torsiello is a writer and editor living in Torrington, Connecticut, and part-time in Mount Pleasant. John writes extensively about homes and gardens, architecture and business topics, as well as dining, entertainment and profiles of sports figures. He has won more than two-dozen awards for his writing from national, regional and state organizations. Samantha Connors is a freelance writer whose work focuses on food, drink and travel. A former magazine editor, Samantha now regularly contributes to local and national publications, including Edible Charleston , Eater.com, and CultureTrip.com.
