Her literary work has been published or will be by NCLR Online, The Fourth River, Fall Lines and Kakalak, and she is the author of a poetry chapbook, “Those Carolina Parakeets Once Far from Extinct.” Carson Hogge is a writer and editor based in Charleston, South Carolina. He enjoys the natural world, traveling to new places and connecting with different people and cultures. Bill Farley is the author of three novels: a history of the Apollo 11 moon-landing mission; a satire on the Olympics; and his newest murder-mystery, “Team Player.” He moved to Mount Pleasant from Los Angeles, where he served as vice president of marketing for Playboy Enterprises, Inc. and chief media spokesman for its founder, Hugh M. Hefner. A regular contributor to Mount Pleasant Magazine and HealthLinks, he has written some 300 articles for these and other publications. Colin McCandless is a Charleston-based freelance writer and editor who enjoys writing about interesting people and places. He was born and raised in Mount Pleasant and returned home to the Lowcountry five years ago after living 14 years in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Daniela Johnson is a freelance writer and digital marketing strategist living in the Lowcountry with her husband, Dustin, and their 13-year-old dog, Rocko. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies from Rutgers University. Aside from writing, she is passionate about animals, traveling, yoga and pasta.
