C O M Satisfaction Guaranteed Ascue’s Auto Body I f you’ve ever traveled Route 17 North in Mount Pleasant, you’re sure to have noticed the Ascue’s Auto Body and Paint building just south of Towne Centre and Venning Road, next to AAA. Since 1968, it’s been something of a local landmark. While you may have noticed the building, unless you’ve had a collision and needed their services, odds are you’ve never learned the Ascue’s story. Craig Ascue took over from his father in 1995 and put it this way: “The customer usually does not know what it will take to fix their car after a major, or even a minor, collision,” he said. “So, I tell them. I’ll never point them in the wrong direction.” And, pricing is not the only honest part. “The quality of our work is,” explained Ascue. “We never let a customer leave the shop until we are satisfied with the work we’ve done.” The shop uses sophisticated repair and painting techniques and handles everything from those dings and dents that make a great car look shabby to major post- collision work. “Everything automotive is highly specialized these days so comprehensive training and education on all of our systems is key,” Acsue said. “We’re a national I-Car certified shop, an honor we all have to study for and be tested on.” Ascue added, “Just as important as our top rating is our commitment to our community.
