It has allowed me to serve the needs of my patients while maintaining a full family life outside the office.” Dr. Boiwka, an optometrist at The Vision Center at Seaside Farms, employs a tried-and-true approach to her profession in which the patient always comes first. “My purpose is to provide patients with cutting-edge services and accurate information that may be used to improve their quality of life.” Advancements in technology and scope of practice has shifted optometry to more of a clinical role than from what many previously saw as just the sale of prescription eyewear. Dr. Boiwka explained, “As optometrists, we are serving as the patient’s primary eyecare provider by tackling both medical and visual concerns. At The Vision Center at Seaside Farms, we strive to provide the best possible care and state-of-the-art experience for our patients.” Ellesse Boiwka, O.D.
