He was born and raised in Mount Pleasant and returned home to the Lowcountry five years ago after living 14 years in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Eileen Casey spent many years working in the television and music industries in New York City on the “ABC In Concert” weekly series and several prime-time network and cable television specials. Relocating to the Hamptons (Long Island), Casey is the former arts and entertainment editor, managing editor and editor- in-chief of Hamptons.com, where she continues to be a senior contributing editor. As an award-winning journalist and editor, Casey is also an award-winning mixed-media artist. She created and developed the “Artists Among Us: Artist Profiles” series for Hamptons. com, and both her interviews and photographs appear in many artists’ published works and websites. Casey now resides in Mount Pleasant. Mary Coy is a fifth-generation Charlestonian and a graduate of the College of Charleston. She is a former teacher in local classrooms, museums and historic sites and nowadays is a licensed tour guide. The author of six books about Charleston, she is also a freelance journalist. Her articles have appeared in national publications, as well as local magazines and newspapers. John Torsiello is a writer and editor living in Torrington, Connecticut, and part time in Mount Pleasant. John writes extensively about homes and gardens, architecture, business topics, as well as dining, entertainment and sports people profiles.
