And as her life has unfolded, she has seen firsthand how determination and hard work can lead to success. Evette completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Cleveland State University and began her career with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), a company that serves as an off-site human resources department for small- and medium-sized organizations. She eventually became comptroller for the PEO. Little did she know that one of her coworkers with whom she’d become friends would later become her husband, David.
