Kim Cedeira, the owner, has been in the industry for nine years. After working in the pharmaceutical industry for 25 years, she was burnt out and in need of a change. What she found was a passion. “Working with dogs and being a dog owner myself, that’s where my heart is.” Cedeira truly loves working with dogs and it shows. Beach Pup/DBA - Afortable Grooming is open six days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or whenever the last dog is finished. On Saturdays, they’re open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are great, but Cedeira would never turn away a walk-in. On average, Beach Pup/DBA - Afortable Grooming sees up to seven dogs per day. Cedeira would love to take on more dogs, but finding reliable people who want to work has been difficult. The team is looking to hire an experienced dog groomer. If you are dependable, love dogs and a hard worker then Cedeira would love to speak with you. Cedeira recommends, for grooming purposes, to keep up with the maintenance in between appointments. Brush or comb your dog daily or a few times a week. Know the dog you have, do your research on care, grooming and feeding.
