When she’s not working you can find her at the beach with her mermaid of a daughter, watching baseball (Go Phillies!) or indulging in delicious food with her husband. Michael M. Cochran is a native Charlestonian who is a published essayist, short story writer and local newspaper guest columnist. An avid outdoorsman, Cochran enjoys spending time hunting and fishing across the state. While working a full-time management job with a local business, he still finds time to slip into the local creeks or cypress swamps seeking the next story. When not in the field, he can be found spending quality time with his wife of nearly 25 years and their 5-and-a-half-year-old English springer spaniel. Robert Donovan is a freelance writer and photographer focusing on food and beverage culture. He is a regular writing contributor to the Charleston City Paper and Eater, and his photographs have appeared on Serious Eats, Edible Feast, Thrillist, Southern Living and Garden & Gun online. A North Carolina native, he now lives in Mount Pleasant, via Wyoming and Colorado, with his wife Debbie and 16 legs worth of dogs. Sara Hart is a senior at Wando High School. She is an aspiring photographer who has been interning at Mount Pleasant Magazine since September.
