He kept saying he wanted to start a Pet section in Mount Pleasant Magazine and that I should write the intro. Bill mentioned that I’m always hanging around the office so I should contribute. I knew this would eventually happen because I know my buddy and he doesn’t stand still for a minute. Then I started pawndering– I mean pondering– how I could help my Mount Pleasant pack of friends by feeding them ideas for this Pet section. Speaking of food makes me hungry, but I digress. Anyhow, my thought was if I came up with story ideas for my Mount Pleasant two-legged friends, then I would be even cooler than I already am. I get that from Bill so it must be genetic. There are so many friends I’ve meant since my buddy Bill brought me to his home. I’ve heard people say Charleston is pet-friendly. Well, from where I’m standing, Mount Pleasant does a superb job. Anywho, as you probably already know, my buddy Bill loves his four-legged friends and asked me if I would dedicate Mount Pleasant Magazine’s inaugural Pet section to Charlie Macchio. Of course, without hesitation, I said yes. No bones about it. Many of you might have known him or heard about Charlie; sadly I did not. But my buddy Bill has told me a lot about Charlie. I was told he even published his own magazine at one time, www.MountPleasant.Pet. Both Charlie and I hope you will find Mount Pleasant Magazine’s first Pet section insightful in ways that Mount Pleasant two-legged residents will be able to take better care of their four-legged family members.
