With all these activities, it can be hard to keep track of everything, but we did you a solid and made a list of the major holiday happenings in the Greater Charleston Area. Feel free to check it twice, as we’ve been nothing but nice to our dear readers. ONGOING AQUARIUM AGLOW When: November-December Where: South Carolina Aquarium Aquarium Aglow is an intricate light show that stretches throughout the aquarium. Using thousands of lights and an array of colors, the aquarium transforms its space into something truly magical. HOLIDAY FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS When: 11/14-12/31 nightly from 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m. Where: James Island County Park This enchanting festival transforms the park into a winter wonderland, bedecked with millions of dazzling lights. Visitors can stroll or drive through a 3-mile tour featuring the city’s finest light displays. NOVEMBER LIGHT THE LAKE When: 11/30 from 5-7 p.m. Where: Colonial Lake, Charleston Watch Colonial Lake transform into a festive wonderland as more than 500 luminaries light up the pathways with a warm holiday glow. Families can enjoy children’s activities, craft stations and delicious bites from local food trucks before gathering at 6 p.m. as Mayor William Cogswell leads the holiday tree lighting at the center of the lake. DECEMBER INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY HOEDOWN When: 12/3 from 6-8 p.m. Where: Park Circle Community Building People with disabilities and their families and friends are invited to our annual Holiday Hoedown!
