He also worked as the public relations manager at Wild Dunes. He’s been active in the community, having served as chairman of the Charleston Metro Sports Council and president of the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. Solomon was selected as the inaugural Marketer of the Year for NCAA Division I-AA and I-AAA institutions by NACMA and was named national SID of the Year by the NAIA. He has been enshrined in the NAIA Hall of Fame and Winthrop’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and his master’s degree from Winthrop. Jen Glekas resides in Mount Pleasant with her husband and two lovely littles. She holds a master’s degree in fiction from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is passionate about food, travel and all things young at heart. Pamela Jouan was born and raised in London and has lived in Los Angeles, New York and Aix-en-Provence, France. She now lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and two children. After many years of working in promotion for Atlantic Records, she decided to pursue her love of writing. Jouan has written over 200 magazine articles on food and wine for celebrity chefs and restaurant groups that can be found at hautelifepress.com . Born in the Midlands of South Carolina, Mac Finch’s family moved to Isle of Palms in the early 1970s. He developed a bond with the waters and marshes that surround the island and chose to stay on the island to raise his two children. He has maintained a Coast Guard license for over 35 years. He still runs yachts from the Gulf of Mexico to the Northeast and the Bahamas. He and his wife, Lorie, currently reside in Huger, South Carolina.
