The sound of the crowd, the excitement of game day and the pride of cheering for your school are traditions that bring people together and create memories that last long after graduation. Our fall 2026 cover celebrates the young women who embody that spirit across Mount Pleasant. While the pageantry and pomp may be evident, behind every spirited cheer is a story of dedication, friendship and belonging. These athletes are more than the faces on the sidelines. They are teammates, leaders and an important part of the communities they represent. In this issue, we take a closer look at what cheerleading means to these young women, both during their high school years and beyond. Their stories remind us that the greatest part of being on a team is not always the performance, but the relationships, confidence and memories built along the way. Here’s to the girls who cheer loudly, stand proudly and remind us of what it means to be part of something bigger than ourselves. About the Cover Front row L to R: MaKenzie Nick, Michaela Coppola.
