77 www.ReadMPM.com | www.MountPleasantMagazine.com | www.MountPleasantPodcast.com My buddy Bill and I get along well. I mean, we really do. There aren’t many people I trust enough to lie down on the floor right next to while they’re working. But with him, I never have to worry. I can stretch out, curl up or even fall sound asleep beside him, knowing he’ll always be watching where I am. He would never step on me. Not ever. My buddy Bill always keeps an eye on where I’m lying or sleeping, and somehow, no matter how busy he gets, he knows exactly where I am. I guess that’s what a really good buddy does. He looks out for you. And if that’s not what being a great friend is all about, I don’t know what is. Like I said, he’s a stand-up guy. He really loves what he does too, which means he’s almost always thinking about something. Honestly, I’m not sure what goes on inside that crazy brain of his. There always seems to be something percolating in there! Most of the time, I believe he’s thinking about one of his magazines, his podcast or one of the many things he does to help our community. Speaking of something my buddy Bill really loves, one of his favorite things is encouraging people to get involved and vote in Mount Pleasant Magazine’s annual Best of Mount Pleasant. And it’s happening right now! So I want to do my part and make a special request to all my pack friends. Every year, my buddy Bill makes sure there’s a special Best of Pets section in the Best of Mount Pleasant issue. He knows just how important our four-legged friends are to this community – because well, we’re not just pets. We’re family. So if you have a minute, please head over to VOTEbestofMP.com and cast your votes for the Best of Mount Pleasant 2027. I know my buddy Bill would appreciate it.
