When the Czech Republic
ex-pat moved to Mount
Pleasant in 1997, he already
possessed a background
in skateboarding and
snowboarding, so, naturally,
surfing was another passion he
developed as soon as he moved
to the Lowcountry. This led to the opening of his shop in
2000, Parrot Surf & Skate, which has focused on spreading
the feeling of a surf and skate community.
