Our East Cooper Neighbors LOVE FRAGOLA Where do you live? I live in the Darrell Creek subdivision in North Mount Pleasant. What is your occupation? I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker and the Fragola Group. What do you love about homes in Mount Pleasant and helping people find the perfect house? I love that Mount Pleasant has a little bit of everything to offer families. Its proximity to beaches, restaurants, downtown and highly regarded schools make this area an amazing place. Helping people find the perfect home is my passion. I love connecting with my clients and listening to what is important and unique in their life so we can guide them every step of the way in finding their dream home. My goal is to offer them a stress free process while they relocate. What is your favorite part about raising a family in Mount Pleasant? What I love most about raising a family in Mount Pleasant are the endless activities available. Whether it is spending time outside, walking or biking the many trails, boating, exploring new eateries, taking in a concert, shopping or simply soaking in another jaw-dropping sunset, it does not get old. JIMMY BROACH Where do you live? I am a born-and-raised Charlestonian (yes, there are a few of us). Now I live in Rivertown with my wonderful wife of 25 years and our two awesome kids. However, my business is in Moncks Corner. What is your business? I am the president and CEO of Atlantic Building Components. We are a wood truss manufacturing company. What do you think draws people to Mount Pleasant? It has great weather, great people, great schools and is close to some of the best restaurants in the country. What piece of advice do you have for other business owners? Know your numbers and treat your employees as good as you treat your customers. Business is all about relationships. BILLIE ANN BLALOCK Where do you live?My family lives on Daniel Island in a sweet neighborhood that has horse trails and dirt roads, but also has quick access to the heart of Mount Pleasant. What is your occupation? In addition to teaching fifth grade English at Palmetto Christian Academy, my husband and I started Front Porch Consign, an online consignment company. How long have you lived in the area? I have lived here for almost 11 years. I moved here from James Island when I married my husband. We have realized this area will be our forever home due to the community around us. What made you want to teach? I started in public education 10 years ago because I fell in love with the profession in college. I never thought I would teach in private education until the Lord clearly opened a door for me seven years ago when within a week’s time, three different people from three different places mentioned an opening at PCA. Transitioning to PCA has been one of the most life giving and fruitful choices I have ever made. Both of my children attend, and the community is unparalleled.
