So when our Art Director, Dana Coleman, came up with an idea for the cover of this issue, we listened. He really knows his football trivia. He noticed that Carolina’s new coach Shane Beamer and Clemson’s assistant coach Tony Elliot have both called Charleston home; with this in mind, he designed the cover art, a tribute to the rival teams. For more than 20 years, Coleman has used his creativity to design beautiful magazines for our town and beyond. Featured here are Coleman’s original art from past editions that headlined football. I think you’ll agree he is a talented artist, but to me, he’s also a dear friend.
