Following a long career in print

and broadcast journalism,

Bill

Farley

spent 25 years as a senior

executive for Playboy Enterprises,

Inc. in Los Angeles. He retired in

2005, moving with his wife, Judy,

to Mount Pleasant. Bill writes fre-

quently for local publications and

has published a novel. He plays

guitar and keyboard and fishes “when someone with a

boat invites me out.”

Charlie Morrison

brings more

than a decade of newsroom experi-

ence, his first story hitting the

shelves in the

Charleston City Paper

back in 2002. Since that time,

he has published more than 600

articles for

West Of

, the

Charleston

City Paper

and the

James Island

Messenger

, which he owned until

April 2015. He is now freelancing on a wide variety of

topics.

Mary Coy

is a fourth-generation

Charlestonian and a graduate

of the College of Charleston. A

former teacher in local classrooms,

museums and historic sites, she

continues to educate as a guest

speaker at special events and by

giving tours through her company,

Charleston 101. She has written six

books about Charleston, and her articles have appeared

in national and local publications.

Joe Semsar

is a lifetime resident

of Mount Pleasant. He currently

works as a business management

consultant with Deloitte Consult-

ing LLP, helping organizations

become more productive and prof-

itable. Semsar earned a bachelor’s

in Political Science from Clemson

University and an MPA from the

University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Govern-

ment. He is a Teach For America alumnus and a former

teacher of the year recipient.
