INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS
doesn’t necessarily always end the way
they want it to, Julie Young considers
it a win nonetheless. The children
are continuously “learning from the
auditions” and gaining invaluable
experience every time they step foot
on stage.
For these families, and so many
others throughout the area, having
these types of musical outlets has
been a true blessing. Though many
of the kids are involved
in other outside
activities, such as ballet,
swimming, karate and
even the Lego Club,
nothing compares
to the moments
they have together
rocking out with their
instruments and having
fun. Whether it is a
scheduled performance,
afternoon practice or
impromptu jam session, these home-
schooled kids are creating sweet music
together and loving every minute of
it.
